Commercial Presenting
Chris brings an essential energy to any script he is presenting. His dynamism and natural read brings a script to life whether on autocue or not. Once, when he was asked to read for a newsreader role, he was told that he had “a very cheeky left eyebrow.” Now, if a more serious reading is necessary, his left eyebrow keeps its cheekiness off set until called for.
Chris has presented on TV, radio and live events. Having started TV presenting on a couple of shows on BBC Children’s TV (and even made it into the Broom Cupboard many, MANY moons ago), Chris most recently presented – sorry, wrote and presented – the series World of Stupid Criminals for Channel 5 which is regularly revisited on Dave.
On radio he has presented shows on both Radio 5Live and TalkSport – combining his two favourite topics – comedy and football.
Over the years, Chris has presented live events in all sorts of strange venues: from nightclubs to football clubs, from studios to stadiums.
He was delighted to be asked to present TEDx in Royal Tunbridge Wells in July 2017 and again 18 months later in January 2019. There’s a rumour they’ve even asked him back for 2020!
Corporate Presenting
Besides his live presenting work in the corporate sector (see Facilitation), Chris regularly presents corporate videos for a number of industries. Everything from Engineering to Finance, Hospitality to Retail. Whether with autocue or without, Chris is comfortable presenting - whatever the location and activity - and, thanks to his writing background, is always able to help bring the most impact to a script.
